Early to mid C18. Rubble. Cross gabled cotswold stone roof. Two and a
half storeys, 2 and 3 light stone mullion windows with modern glazing, dripmoulds
and hollow chamfer mouldings in rebated surround. Door with C20 gabled weather
porch to right. Segmental opening and blocked door to north-west. Mid C19
stable to rear with segmental arched doorway to south-east.

Mid-C19 including older structures. Two storeys and attic. 'Cotswold stone rubble
with stone tile roof and 2 gabled dormers to left and slate mansard roof
with one dormer to right. Three + 2 windows on first floor, 2 and 3 light
casements, right hand with wooden lintels on first floor, other windows with
segmental heads. Central door to each part, the right hand one now a window,
the left hand one 6 flush panel-type.

The Shears

Recorded from 1804; former inn (see "The Shears Inn" in raised letters on plat
band). Three storeys, coursed and dressed rubble with ashlar quoins and
dressings. Three windows, glazing bar sashes, blind in centre of second
floor, ground floor windows fixed, with fretted cast-iron vents above. Modem
glazed door in centre of ground floor. Modemn tile roof.
