Branch l<strong>in</strong>e 1864-67. One and 2 storeys. Ashlar with some polychromy<br />
(see voussoirs and reliev<strong>in</strong>g arches). Slate roofs with 4 groups of chimneys<br />
which have decorative capp<strong>in</strong>g. Crested ridge. Drive front has to left<br />
a s<strong>in</strong>gle storey open arcade with "Romanesque" columns and carved capitals:<br />
3s1 bays with hipped slate roof. To right of this is a pla<strong>in</strong> s<strong>in</strong>gle storey<br />
range, with 2 mullion and transom w<strong>in</strong>dows flank<strong>in</strong>g a small w<strong>in</strong>dow. Right<br />

hand block is 2 storeys,gable fronted with bargeboards and a bracketted,<br />
slated gabled door hood of wood; irregular w<strong>in</strong>dows 2+1 on each floor.<br />
The platform side of this block has a project<strong>in</strong>g one w<strong>in</strong>dow bargeboarded<br />
gable; <strong>in</strong> centre 2 hipped loggias with carved corbel capitals from project<strong>in</strong>g<br />
side walls - this screens 3 w<strong>in</strong>dows and 2 outer doors; gabled w<strong>in</strong>g to<br />
right has shield <strong>in</strong> coped gable and canted bay on ground floor.<br />

structures (<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g apparently mediaeval masonry). Rubble with Cotswold U<br />
stone roof. In 2 parts, left hand part 2-and a half (or one and a half)<br />
storeys: 3 gabled dormers, 2+3 w<strong>in</strong>dows (casements) <strong>in</strong> partly blocked open<strong>in</strong>gs,<br />
