Circa 1700. Two and a half storey house in coursed rubble. Cotswold
stone roof with 2 modern chimneys and 3 gabled dormers. Three ranges
I of 4 light casement windows with chamfered surrounds and drips, altered
on ground floor to left; centre and right hand windows linked by common
*! drip, they flank a chamfered doorway with half glazed door. Left hand
j bay appears to be an addition.
Interior: chamfered beam with stop resembling folded ribbon.

Chest tomb in cemetery

Mid C18, altar type with moulded plinth and egg and dart ornamented cornice.
Slight break to central panel, carved flowers beside panels. Moulded
and scrolled capping and shaped finial.
Cemetery associated with the Upper Forest Green Congregational Chapel
(1688 and 1720, demolished 1973).

Railway Hotel
Now a private house. Railway branch line dates from 1864-67. This late
classic villa-style house is earlier. Ashlar with moulded cornice to
coping. Ripped slate roof. Three x three windows, glazing bar sashes,
arched in centre of ground floor (formerly a door as indicated by steps).
Ground floor return to left has bow with casement windows.
Painted band over first floor to front and to left hand return with inscription
"Railway Hotel".
Shown on a mid C19 print of Nailsworth before railway arrived.
