ashlar with moulded capp<strong>in</strong>g. Gabled projections at back. Side faced<br />
<strong>in</strong> stucco. One+two attic gables. Three storeys. Seven w<strong>in</strong>dows, glaz<strong>in</strong>g<br />
bar sashes with pla<strong>in</strong> architraves; only 3 w<strong>in</strong>dows on second floor, 2 light<br />
stone mullions and drip-stones and leaded casements. Doorway with late<br />
C18 carved wooden pediment with fluted frieze and modillions on carved<br />
I consoles; 6 panel door. Side door late C17, studded with strap h<strong>in</strong>ges,<br />
chamfered surround and label. Bread oven projection to rear.<br />

C18. Ashlar street wall about 5-7 ft high and about 75 yds long; conta<strong>in</strong>s<br />
a po<strong>in</strong>ted arch doorway with rusticated surround and studded door with<br />
* adjacent to it an arched spr<strong>in</strong>g recess. Convex quadrant stable entry<br />
3 at north-west end. Ashlar gate piers with p<strong>in</strong>eapple f<strong>in</strong>ials at south-east<br />
end.
