5227 5227 SO 80 SW 1/111 II GV NYYPSFIELD ROAD ___ U-shaped range of outbuildings and parallel barn at east end, to south-west of Wood Farmhouse 2. 1840s, for Edward Leigh (builder of Woodchester Park). Rubble with tiled roofs (barn has corrugated asbestos). Single-storey U plan buildings with plain doors and windows; rear of south-east range has 3 segaent headed archways for implements. Parallel barn range to east, 2 storeys with heavy ash timbers to roof, 3 bays, archway to right. - 1. 5227 ST 8499 6/1123 II GV OLD BRISTOL ROAD] (south-east side) Nos 1 to 5 (consec) 2. Mid C19 terrace circa 1835-40. Three storeys, coursed and dressed rubble. Slate roof. One-five-two-two-three windows, glazing bar sashes. Nos 1 and 2 have ground floor bays and arched doorways with traceried fanlights and 6 panel doors, the others plain, No 5 with gabled and bracketted porch. 1. 5227 ,'.i OLD BRISTOL ROADJ (south-east side) ' No 6. (Northfields) ST 8499 6/113 and garden railings II GV 2. 1833-34 (Deeds). Three storeys, coursed and dressed rubble with modern tile roof. Three windows, glazing bar sashes. Central flush panel door under arched fanlight. Light trellis porch. Cast iron railings to pavement. 24

1. 5227 OLD BRISTOL ROAD (south-east side) ST 8499 6/50 20.9,72 II Mwillbottom Mill 2.> Early C19, replacing corn-mill on the site. Used for both corn and cloth in Cl9. Now converted to dwelling. Coursed rubble with corrugated iron roof and end chimneys. Slight break in centre and other evidence in roof indicates that it was planned as-a symmetrical rectangular block of 11 bays with central full height pedimented break and may have been intended to have an extra storey. Later, mainly brick accretions. South front 2 storeys, 2+3 windows to right. Later lean-to with 3 ground floor windows to left, 2 windows with covered steps to far left. Original windows segment headed with casements. Roughly central door with cusped arch opening over. Three storeys to north with later mainly brick lean-to extensions marking the elevation. Note door on ground floor in the chamfered frame of a possibly C18 window. Arched and rusticated main doorways concealed by these accretions. External wheel on east gable end. 1. 5227 OLD BRISTOL ROAD (north-west side) ST 8499 6/47 30.5.51 II GV Nos 1 2 and Bank Side : No 35, Millbottom {formerly listed as Millbottom under Bristol Road) 2. Central portion remodelled circa 1820. Twb storeys, rubble with stone tile roofs. Three windows, glazing bar sashes. Six panel door with rusticated stone surround. Flanked by mid C17 gabled cottages, the left hand one (Bank Side Cottage) has 2 windows, 4 light casements with hollow chamfer mouldings to mullions, drips. Modem central door and porch. Two gable lights also with hollow chamfer surrounds and drips. Right hand end gable has modern windows, north front has a dormer. 25
