1080 in the toxic collar for the control <strong>of</strong> coyotes. ~nitialiy for
a period <strong>of</strong> cne year, the EUP has been ex~ended and the tests aro
presently scheduled to end in Deczmber <strong>of</strong> 1982. During the period
August 1980 through December 31 , 1981 , col lars were deployed on 10
ranches (including the Howard Ranch, Meridian , Texas), 69 col 1 ared
animals were killed or zttacked by coyotes cr dogs and 33 collars
