nanny <strong>on</strong> August 19 and anothzr col lzred kid <strong>on</strong> August 22, i 973. 1<br />

three collars were punctured and <strong>the</strong>re was no fur<strong>the</strong>r predati<strong>on</strong> at<br />

this site in<strong>to</strong> march 1980. While no dead coyotes were found, it<br />

was c<strong>on</strong>cluded that two or three were probably killed. Twelve<br />

coyotes were taken by c<strong>on</strong>venti<strong>on</strong>al means within a five-mile radius<br />

<str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> this site during <strong>the</strong> period late August 1979 through May <str<strong>on</strong>g>of</str<strong>on</strong>g> 1980.<br />

This test was c<strong>on</strong>sidered successful and especially noteworthy<br />
