Family STICHOTREMATIDAi: Hofeneder 1910 (Stich'o-tre-mat'i-dre, from
the Greek O'TLxos, a line, a row, + TPf/ILa., Tp1UJ,aTOS, a hole; referring to
the rows of abdominal genital tubes). Orthopteran parasites.
A very small family with one important genus, Stichotrema Hofeneder, which
is parasitic on the orthopteran, Sexatla sp., in Dutch New Guinea.
