2 tsp. dried thyme
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 cups boiling water
Put herbs in a pot. Pour in water and steep for 5 mins. strain.
Ginger/Lemon-congestion
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 of a fresh lemon
1 tsp. honey
3 1/4 inch slices of ginger, bruised
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Boil water in glass or stainless steel pot. Add ginger and simmer 5 mins. Put the other ingredients in a
mug. Add the ginger tea and sip slowly.
For feverish Colds
1 tsp. dried crushed rosehips
1 tsp. dried sage
1 tsp. dried peppermint
1 cup boiled water
Put herbs in pot. Pour water over, cover, steep for 10 mins. Strain.
You can add honey to any of these for taste.
