2 Ounces Butterscotch Candy
Orange Food Coloring
Beat together margarine and shortening, sugar, egg, milk, vanilla and food coloring till light and fluffy.
In separate bowl stir together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually beat flour mixture into margarine
mixture.
Line pizza pan with aluminum foil, shiny side down. Put dough onto pan, making dough meet all sides of
pan. Freeze 10 minutes. till dough is firm enough to cut a Jack O'Lantern face on it.
Meanwhile, crush candy in a plastic bag and hit with a rolling pin, making about 4 TBS. Fill cut out face
with candy.
Sprinkle dough with sugar. Bake on middle rack okf 375° oven for 20 minutes or until slightly browned.
Use a dull knife 2 different times to push the dough away from the candy when it spreads into the design.
Cool 15 minutes. Pull off foil and put on serving plate.
