Around the circle she walks
Spirit voices crackle,
As the fire talks
Faces in the fire burst forth leaping and squealing
She calls now to the gate keeper,
Who brings forth visions and lost feelings
My sweat it tingles
My heart beats along with the drumming
Spirit voices mingle,In the breeze
My visions they are coming
Wild is the heart
And old is the soul
She guides me to the path,
where I must now go
Words of power,words of prayer
Spirit dances through the air
Spirit dances and sings along
With the words of the ancient song
Burning and slowly dying
Cold coles to black where once was light
Spirits of wisdom like whispers,
They do fade into the night
Medicine wheel where our circle stood
Tells tales of the wild ways,
Within this wildwood.
Spirits of the past
Come again unto the night
Within this our circle
Where the spirit flame,
Burns tall and bright
Ignite our hearts,
With your wisdom and insight
Spirits of this flame,
Our ancestors do claim
This circle and this rite.
