Let the files stay where they're put, Away from disk drives keep all soot. From its screen shall come no whines, Let in no spikes on power lines. As oaks were sacred to the Druids, Let not the keyboard suffer fluids. Disk Full shall be nor more than rarity, The memory shall not miss its parity. From the modem shall come wonders, Without line noise making blunders. May it never catch a virus, And all its software stay desirous. Oh let the printer never jam, And turn my output into spam. I ask of Eris, noble queen, Keep Murphy far from this machine. (111 Reads) comments? PathWalkers.Net Interactive :: Helping you along your path One night I had a wondrous dream, One set of footprints there was seen, The footprints of the Goddess they were, But mine were not along the shore. But then some stranger prints appeared, and I asked Her, "What have we here? These prints are large and round and neat, But much too big to be from feet." "My child," She said in somber tones, "For miles I carried you alone. I challenged you to walk in faith, But you refused and made me wait." "You would not learn, you would not grow, The walk of faith, you would not know, So I got tired, I got fed up, And there I dropped you on your butt. "Because in life, there comes a time When one must fight, and one must climb, When one must rise and take a stand, Or leave their butt prints in the sand." ---Author Unknown (161 Reads) comments? Poetry: Riding The Wheels Posted by: Nyxks on Friday, April 02, 2004 - 03:15 PM Sacred Spinning Woman, Spin the wheels for me. For I am on a journey, Many worlds to see. I shall ride the wheels of Fire, Water, Earth and Air. Sacred Spinning Woman, Can you show me where? Sisters of the Wyrd, Weave a cloak for me. For I am on a journey, Between the worlds to be. http://www.pathwalkers.net/interactive/modules.p...ame=News&file=index&catid=13&topic=&allstories=1 (16 of 19) [12/25/2005 12:05:13 AM]
