Hydraulic control fluids Preventers are activated by the use of special hydraulic control fluid. The fluid must: not freeze on low temperatures (temperature range from 84 °C to –46 °C) lubricate moving parts and avoid wearing out not cause corrosion disperse in salt or fresh water and not pollute or contaminate. For such purpose it is possible to use: original manufacturer product Koomey hydraulic fluid C-50F is mixed with fresh water and ethylene glycol must be added to the diluted fluid for freeze protection.
