Lead-Shielded Doors
Lead-shielded doors are ideal for use in x-ray rooms
and radiation treatment facilities. Eggers’ lead-shielded
5-ply flush doors are manufactured under the strictest
quality control and offer the highest possible level of
radiation protection.
• Lead thickness from 1/32"-1/8".
• Available in 20-, 45- and 60-minute fire ratings.
• Lite cutouts up to 1269 sq. in. (factory glazing available).
• Select from 4' x 10' singles or 8' x 10' pairs.
Removable True-Divided Grillwork
Removable true-divided grillwork
is a cost-effective and practical
alternative to traditional truedivided
lites. The grillwork
provides a high-end appearance
without the need for high-
maintenance. It easily snaps in and out of door lite
openings for effortless cleaning.
Acoustical Doors
Eggers’ acoustical doors have the highest STc ratings in
the industry. Maximum rated for their class – STc 40
for true stile & rail doors and STc 51 for flush doors,
they provide the necessary sound control medical facilities
need. Our acoustical doors not only shield visitors and
patients from loud, disturbing noises, they also help
increase staff productivity by minimizing distracting and
invasive sounds.
• Versatile – can be faced with veneer, plastic
laminate or MDO.
• STc 48 and 51 doors can be used as acoustically
rated x-ray shielding doors.
Fire-Rated Doors and Frames
Eggers’ fire-rated doors offer superior functionality with
equally impressive aesthetics. Our extensive manufacturing
capabilities include fire-rated door pairs without metal
meeting edges. Just specify ‘no metal edge construction’ to
do away with unsightly edges.
Whether flush or true stile & rail doors, they’re fire-rated
up to 90-minute for both negative and positive pressure.
Our veneered door frames are rated from 20- through
90-minute while our solid lumber frames are fire-rated up
to 45-minute. Eggers’ true-divided lite doors are rated up
to 20-minute, while our full-lite doors come with 20- and
45-minute ratings.
eiDoors for High Impact Applications
Pair the strength and protection of InPro corporation’s
Rigid Sheet and the quality and performance of Eggers
Doors to make eiDoors - supremely durable doors
that withstand high amounts of traffic and abuse while
maintaining an attractive decor. Now, eiDoors are
available with replaceable edges on both the hinge and
lock edges for convenient, on-site replacement - offering
a convenient, high quality, and cost effective solution for
maximum protection against door damage.
Manufacturing Capabilities
Our comprehensive, in-house capabilities are key success
factors for healthcare projects with vast and diverse hardware
requirements. Eggers’ UV finish contains no added ureaformaldehyde
and is free of Volatile Organic compounds
(VOc). It provides a strong and protective shield to all
wood veneer products. Additionally, our antimicrobial
topcoats help maintain a sterile environment.
We are able to manufacture and construct oversized doors.
Our flush doors can go up to 4' x 11' while our stile & rail
doors can measure up to 4' x 11' for singles and 8' x 11'
for non-rated pairs.
Solid Lumber Edges
All Eggers doors are available with solid lumber edges.
Unlike veneer over ScL, Eggers’ solid lumber edges
provide the extra heavy-duty durability required by busy
medical facilities. Eggers doors are built to withstand the
most rigorous use on a daily basis.
Recessed Metal Edgeguards
Eggers’ recessed metal edgeguards protect doors while still
providing a sleek profile. The metal edgeguards shield doors
against daily abuse from busy, high-traffic hospital activity.
Because Eggers’ edgeguards are recessed, the metal lays flush
with the veneer to enhance durability without compromising
the aesthetic quality of our doors.
Mini-Blind Units
Eggers’ mini-blind glass units are the
perfect solution for patient privacy.
The 1" blinds are encapsulated between
two sheets of 1/8" tempered glass
for easier cleaning and maintenance.
Eggers’ mini-blind units offer several
options for tilting and raising.
