This is a species <strong>of</strong> moderately acidic soils with impeded drainage, such as those found in<br />
ancient woodlands and fens. It is particularly abundant on <strong>the</strong> East Field and in o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
clearings in Monks Wood. There are old records <strong>for</strong> The Belt, Orton Longueville (CP).<br />
