1. To examine the process <strong>of</strong> public hearing and consultations with affected communities before the project<br />
started.<br />
2. To inquire into the issues <strong>of</strong> exclusion, loss <strong>of</strong> livelihood, and violation <strong>of</strong> human rights and other economic,<br />
social, and cultural rights.<br />
3. To inquire into the immediate and long-term environmental impacts <strong>of</strong> the project on the Kutch coastline.<br />
4. To inquire into the role <strong>of</strong> financial institutions in ensuring protection <strong>of</strong> environment and human rights,<br />
and monitoring compliance <strong>of</strong> national laws and safeguard policies.<br />
5. To understand the possible cumulative impacts <strong>of</strong> large-scale industrial expansion in Kutch.<br />
6. To provide the findings along with appropriate recommendations.
