After such great support from our membership last year; we will have an even bigger and better tournament at the end of April. In an effort to organize the best tournament possible, we are looking for sponsor- ships. We will have different levels and more information will be posted soon. I am sure that all of you will help us put a great event together and come out and support all the players. Sabita, Rick and I will be playing and will try our hardest to represent the Club in the best way possible both on and off the court. Last month, I played the first tournament of the USPTA Grand Prix circuit in Delray Beach and won both Singles and Doubles Draw. In Singles, my opponent in the final was Mathieau Soto from Delray Beach. After almost two hours of exciting tennis I won 6-4 3-6 10-7. In Doubles, I partnered with Franco Mata from Naples and in the final we defeated Paulo Barros from Winter Park and Eric Turnquist from Key Largo. The score in the final was 6-4 1-6 10-3.
