Fabric Characteristics<br />
Different fabrics/constructions will respond better than others to specific<br />
seating applications. Certain fabrics/constructions are more prone to<br />
relaxing over time and can demonstrate characteristics such as wrinkling,<br />
pilling, fuzzing and puddling. Some upholsteries may experience dye transfer<br />
(clothing dyes transfer to the seating fabric). This does not mean that the<br />
fabric or application is deficient, but rather it is an inherent characteristic<br />
of that fabric or application and is considered normal behavior.<br />
Leather Characteristics<br />
Leather is a natural product. Healed scars, scratches, cuts and stretch marks<br />
are natural markings and are characteristics of leather. Leather may experience<br />
dye transfer (clothing dyes transfer to the leather). This does not mean that<br />
the leather or application is deficient, but rather it is an inherent characteristic<br />
of that leather or application and is considered normal behavior.<br />
