Mac Mac OS X Win The information in this guide also relates to the three other members of the SMART family of interactive products: the Rear Projection SMART Board interactive whiteboard (both cabinet and in-wall models), the SMART Sympodium lectern and the SMART Board for Plasma Displays interactive whiteboard. For complete setup information, read the installation guide shipped with your product. NOTE: This guide assumes that you’ve already completed interactive whiteboard setup: You’ve mounted the SMART Board unit to a wall or to a floor stand and installed SMART Board software as described in the SMART Board interactive whiteboard setup instructions. This manual is for users of both Windows and Mac® OS operating systems. Almost all of the procedures and descriptions apply to all systems. However, any information that relates solely to the Mac OS 8.5 through 9.x operating systems is accompanied by a “Mac” icon in the margin. Information specific to the Mac OS X operating system software is indicated by a similarly placed “Mac OS X” icon.
