2 1/2” Stainless Correction with Palate Relief and 3/8” Sweet Iron Bars
West Coast Classic
# 899
A “must have” bit for the bridle horse. This 2 1/2” Correction Port is a step up from the standard
Reinsman Correction. The port is higher, but has a good amount of palate relief and is curved to
softly engage the palate during cues. The 3/8” bars are a nice average thickness, and the sweet iron
encourages salivation for a supple mouth. The correction bit moves in four places, giving lift, collection
and bend for lateral movement and body placement. Reinsman’s Golden Glide bushings enhance the
smoothness of the independent cheek movement allowing for more precise cues.
