One bank, one personality
Our services
The services of a large bank customised by a private bank:
this is our philosophy. All the solutions offered have been
tailor-made and are the result of carefully listening to our
customers: this is why «knowing your customer» is not just a
vague marketing slogan for us, rather the foundation of our
business and one of the main reasons for our success.
Knowing your customer means above all defining an accurate
profile that highlights the propensity to invest, the level of
risk he/she is willing to accept, issues related to retirement
or inheritance, or even his/her financial obligations as an
individual or company.
We have a streamlined and flexible structure ensuring fast
response times. Thus the acquisition of new products, market
information, consultancy, the granting of loans, are all dealt
with quickly and efficiently.
Style
«Swiss Private Banking» is the code of conduct which
makes us stand above the rest: discretion, professionalism
and protection of privacy represent an attitude integrated
in our culture, well beyond the legal obligations imposed by
Federal Banking Laws.
We fully focus on satisfying our customers’ expectations.
When dealing with PKB, each customer is guaranteed to
receive quick and informed answers.
It is worth highlighting that each customer is assigned a
senior consultant, regardless of the size of the portfolio
concerned. Thanks to our highly qualified team of consultants,
supported by a flexible and effective structure, we
provide a trustworthy service in every situation.
PKB IS A PARTNER OF MUSÉE DE L’ELYSÉE, LAUSANNE,

ONE OF THE FIRST EUROPEAN MUSEUMS TO BE SOLELY DEDICATED TO PHOTOGRAPHY, FROM ITS EARLY DAYS TO MODERN TIMES.

THE PARTNERSHIP WITH MUSÉE DE L’ELYSÉE TESTIFIES PKB’S CULTURAL SENSITIVITY

«Dedicated» private management
Tailor-made consultancy
Individuals or families, entrepreneurs or self-employed professionals:
fifty years of experience in the sector have given
us in-depth knowledge of their expectations and objectives.
This knowledge is the core of our approach, which is both
global and made-to-measure, assisting us in pursuing the
objective of finding a specific solution to every need, at
every asset development stage, be it formation, growth or
consolidation.
Financial and specialised consultancy is provided to select
the appropriate investment or optimise effective planning
of fiscal or inheritance issues. PKB consultants also assist
our customers in all the decisions concerning their busi-
nesses, real estate investments and corporate organisation.
For this purpose, our consultants collect all the elements
required to best serve our customers’ interests, by analysing
their objectives, understanding their financial and family
situation and checking their risk propensity. At each
meeting the consultant assesses the effectiveness of the
choices made, checking developments in the customer’s
assets and suggesting new opportunities.
For specialised advice on legal, fiscal and corporate matters
we work with a network of well-established and internationally
recognised law firms and trust companies with which
we share decisions and choices. The same applies to the
assistance for the localisation of operational structures or
for fiscal or administrative procedures connected to our
customers’ residence.
AND COMMITMENT. ART IS INTEGRAL TO PKB’S CORPORATE PHILOSOPHY.

Asset management
Asset management demands the expertise of a qualified
professional team. The asset management mandate implies
for the bank to choose investments with the aim of optimising
returns and the risk of the portfolios as part of a
common strategy.
In the last two decades, the globalisation of the world
economy, technological innovation and the multiplication
of financial instruments have revolutionised the markets,
widening the spectrum of investment opportunities, while
increasing the risks for the investor.
A growing number of private investors have turned to discretionary
asset management services (GPM and GPF), which
have a host of benefits: access to the bank’s specialist team
featuring a huge array of economic and financial skills and
an efficient decision-making process, which starts from an
analysis of the situation of the global economy to progressively
move to the selection of asset classes, currencies and
individual investment vehicles. Our specialists ensure constant
presence in the markets and the possibility to quickly
react to sudden and unsettling news. They are skilled in
understanding and assessing the various markets as well
as complex financial instruments, thus expanding the
investment opportunities. They also structure portfolios by
optimising the return / risk profile.
Fund-based asset management
An alternative to traditional asset management, it follows
a different process that starts from the choice of the best
managers to then achieve the structuring of the portfolios.
It requires what we call an «open architecture».
Using quantitative and qualitative analysis methods, the
bank’s specialists examine several thousand investment
funds diversified by asset class and geographic area. The
analysis leads to the selection of the «best of the best» investment
funds, which are then used to structure the managed
portfolios. These are both traditional funds invested
in individual asset classes or business sectors, and funds of
alternative funds, divided into different investment strategies.
Fiscal and inheritance planning assistance
This type of consultancy allows for careful planning geared
towards durably transmitting and protecting assets, in
complete compliance of all the laws in force in the country of
origin or residence.
