MINNEAPOLIS - CITY OF LAKES A large metropolitan area with a small-town feel, Minneapolis is a vibrant art and entertainment locale with its many renowned theatres and playhouses. It owns the second-most theatre seats in the country per capita behind only New York. Consistently noted as one of the best cities in the nation to reside, Minneapolis is also known for its outdoor activities with an elaborate park system and numerous lakes within the city limits.
