near Moultrie, on which
a thousand thorough
bred hogs were graz
ing. These hogs were
in fine condition and
making gains every day
and a profit to their
owner. The cost of
feeding is comparative
ly small, for most of the
ration was the clover
and grain which they
were gathering for
themselves. Georgia is
going into the pig busi
ness very rapidly and
the native farmer is
learning to raise the
pasture crops so neces
sary to the production
of cheap pork. Millions
of acres await hog
ranchers and their en
terprise.
