My first day was aboard the 1901 ELSWORTH. Then, there were about three-dozen of these wooden boats dredging the Maryland waters of the bay. Today only a few remain, the last fishing vessels to under sail on North American waters. Here we see ELSWORTH off loading at Harrison’s dock at Knapp’s Narrows – Tilghman Island, MD.
