Example<br />

FREQUENCIES VARIABLE=V1 /NTILES=4 /NTILES=10.<br />

• The first NTILES subcommand requests percentiles 25, 50, and 75.<br />

• The second NTILES subcommand requests percentiles 10 through 90 in increments of 10.<br />

• The 50th percentile is produced by both specifications but is displayed only once in the<br />

output.<br />

STATISTICS Subcommand<br />

STATISTICS controls the display of statistics. By default, cases with missing values are<br />

excluded from the calculation of statistics.<br />

• The minimum specification is the keyword STATISTICS, which generates the mean, standard<br />

deviation, minimum, and maximum (these statistics are also produced by keyword<br />

DEFAULT).<br />

MEAN Mean.<br />

SEMEAN Standard error of the mean.<br />

MEDIAN Median. Ignored when AFREQ or DFREQ are specified on the FORMAT subcommand.<br />

MODE Mode. If there is more than one mode, only the first mode is displayed.<br />

STDDEV Standard deviation.<br />

VARIANCE Variance.<br />

SKEWNESS Skewness.<br />

SESKEW Standard error of the skewness statistic.<br />

KURTOSIS Kurtosis.<br />

SEKURT Standard error of the kurtosis statistic.<br />

RANGE Range.<br />

MINIMUM Minimum.<br />

MAXIMUM Maximum.<br />

SUM Sum.<br />

DEFAULT Mean, standard deviation, minimum, and maximum.<br />

ALL All available statistics.<br />

NONE No statistics.
