• MXWARNS displays the maximum number of warnings allowed before a session is<br />

terminated.<br />

Subcommands<br />

The following alphabetical list shows the available subcommands.<br />

ALL Display important settings applicable to your system. This is the<br />

default.<br />

BLANKS Value to which a completely blank field for a numeric variable is<br />

translated. The default is the system-missing value.<br />

BLKSIZE Default block length used for scratch files and SPSS-format data files.<br />

The default varies by system. BLKSIZE cannot be changed with SET.<br />

BOX Characters used to draw boxes. Both character and hexadecimal representations<br />

are displayed. The default is X’2D7C2B2B2B2B2B2B2B2B2B’.<br />

This setting applies only to text output from the program.<br />

BLOCK Character used to draw bar charts. Both character and hexadecimal<br />

representations are displayed. The default is X’2A’. This setting applies<br />

only to the text output from the program.<br />

BUFFNO The default number of buffers used for all files managed by the system<br />

for input and output. The default varies by system. BUFFNO cannot be<br />

changed with SET.<br />

CC Custom currency formats. CC shows the current custom currency formats<br />

that have been defined for CCA, CCB, CCC, CCD, and CCE on<br />

SET. In Windows environments, they reflect the Regional Settings<br />

Properties. You can also request any of these keywords individually.<br />

CACHE Cache active data file. This setting shows the number of changes in the<br />

active data file before a cache file is created. The default is 20.<br />

COMPRESSION Compression of scratch files. The setting is either ON or OFF (alias<br />

YES or NO). The default varies by system.<br />

CTEMPLATE Chart template file. The setting is either NONE or a filename.<br />

DEFOLANG Default output language. Default output language to use if the<br />

language specified on the OLANG subcommand is not available. The<br />

initial default setting is the language version of the installed software.<br />

DIRECTORY Default directory. The root directory used to determine the locations<br />

of files specified with no paths or relative paths. A wide variety of actions<br />

can change the current default directory during a session.<br />

ENVIRONMENT Operating system and computer information. Includes information on<br />

environment variables, defined paths, domain, etc.
