118. Removal, etc., <strong>of</strong> property under lawful seizure<br />
Any person who, when any property has been attached or taken under the process <strong>of</strong><br />
authority <strong>of</strong> any court, knowingly and with intent to hinder or defeat the attachment or process,<br />
receives, removes, retains, conceals or disposes <strong>of</strong> the property, is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and is<br />
liable to imprisonment for three years.<br />

CHAPTER XIII<br />
MISCELLANEOUS OFFENCES AGAINST PUBLIC AUTHORITY (ss 120-124A)<br />
120. Frauds and breaches <strong>of</strong> trust by public <strong>of</strong>ficers<br />
A person employed in the public service who, in the discharge <strong>of</strong> the duties <strong>of</strong> his <strong>of</strong>fice,<br />
commits any fraud or breach <strong>of</strong> trust affecting the public, whether the fraud or breach <strong>of</strong> trust<br />
would have been criminal or not if committed against a private person, is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence<br />
and shall be liable to imprisonment for seven years.<br />
121. Neglect <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial duty<br />
A person employed in the public service who wilfully neglects to perform any duty which he is<br />
bound either by common law or by any written law to perform, unless the discharge <strong>of</strong> the duty<br />
is not attended with greater danger than a man <strong>of</strong> ordinary courage and activity might be<br />
expected to encounter, is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence.<br />
122. False information to person employed in the public service<br />
Whoever gives to any person employed in the public service any information which he knows<br />
or believes to be false, intending thereby to cause, or knowing it to be likely that he will thereby<br />
cause that person–<br />
(a) to do or omit anything which that person ought not to do or omit, if the true state <strong>of</strong><br />
facts respecting which the information is given were known to him; or<br />
(b) to use the lawful power <strong>of</strong> that person to the injury or annoyance <strong>of</strong> any person,<br />
shall be guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and shall be liable to imprisonment for six months or to a fine <strong>of</strong><br />
one thousand shillings or to both the fine and imprisonment.<br />
123. Disobedience <strong>of</strong> statutory duty<br />
A person who wilfully contravenes any written law by doing any act which it forbids or by<br />
omitting to do any act which it requires to be done and which concerns the public or any part <strong>of</strong><br />
the public, is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and is liable, unless a different punishment is provided by that
