is likely to cause a breach <strong>of</strong> the peace; or<br />
(b) brawls or, in any other manner, creates a disturbance in such a manner as is likely to<br />
cause a breach <strong>of</strong> the peace,<br />
is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and liable to imprisonment for six months.<br />
(2) Any person who–<br />
(a) with intent to intimidate or annoy any person, threatens to injure, assault, shoot at or<br />
kill any person or to burn, destroy or damage any property; or<br />
(b) with intent to alarm any person discharges a fire-arm or commits any other breach <strong>of</strong><br />
the peace, is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and is liable to imprisonment for one year and if the<br />
<strong>of</strong>fence is committed at night the <strong>of</strong>fender is liable to imprisonment for two years.<br />
89A. Watching or besetting<br />
(1) Any person who watches or besets any premises or other place, or the approaches to<br />
any such premises or other place with a view to–<br />
(a) preventing any other person from doing any act which he may lawfully do; or<br />
(b) compelling any other person to do any act which he may lawfully abstain from doing,<br />
is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and is liable to imprisonment for six months:<br />
Provided that the provisions <strong>of</strong> this section shall not apply to any watching or besetting which<br />
is lawful under the provisions <strong>of</strong> any law relating to trade unions or trade disputes.<br />
(2) A person shall not be prosecuted for an <strong>of</strong>fence under this section without the written<br />
consent <strong>of</strong> the Director <strong>of</strong> Public Prosecutions.<br />
89B. Intimidation<br />
(1) Any person who wrongfully and without legal authority intimidates any other person with a<br />
view to compelling that other person–<br />
(a) to abstain from doing any act which he has a legal right to do; or<br />
(b) to do any act which he has a legal right to abstain from doing,<br />
is guilty <strong>of</strong> an <strong>of</strong>fence and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for one year.<br />
(2) In this section–<br />
"to intimidate" means to cause in the mind <strong>of</strong> a person a reasonable apprehension <strong>of</strong> injury<br />
to him or to any member <strong>of</strong> his family or to any <strong>of</strong> his dependants or <strong>of</strong> violence or damage to
