Joined CEMEX in 1996, and has held senior management positions in the Strategic<br />
Planning and Human Resources areas. He is currently Executive Vice President of<br />
Organization and Human Resources. He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering<br />
from ITESM, and holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the<br />
University of Texas at Austin.<br />
Joined CEMEX in 1996 and after holding management positions in the Strategic<br />
Planning area, he headed CEMEX operations in Egypt, Spain, and Western Europe. He is<br />
currently President of CEMEX Northern Europe, and is also responsible of the<br />
company’s global Energy and Sustainability area. He has served as a member of the<br />
board of directors of COMAC (Comercial de Mateiales de Construcción S.L.), member<br />
of the board and president of OFICEMEN (Agrupación de Fabricantes de Cemento de<br />
España), member of the board of IECA (Instituto Español del Cemento y sus<br />
Aplicaciones), president of CEMA, and patron of the Junior Achievement Foundation. In<br />
June 2010, he was appointed vice-president of CEMBUREAU (European Cement<br />
Association). He graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic<br />
University of Madrid and holds an MBA from Stanford University.<br />
Joined CEMEX in 1996, and held several executive positions in the areas of Strategic<br />
Planning, Business Development, Ready-Mix Concrete, Aggregates, and Human<br />
Resources. More recently, he headed CEMEX operations in Egypt. He is currently<br />
President of CEMEX Mediterranean, which includes operations in Spain, Egypt, Croatia,<br />
and the Middle East. He graduated with a Management degree from San Pablo CEU<br />
University, and holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and an<br />
MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<br />
Joined CEMEX in 1989 and has occupied several senior management positions,<br />
including president of CEMEX Colombia, president of CEMEX Mexico, and president<br />
of the South America and Caribbean region, and the Europe, Middle East, Africa, and<br />
Asia Region. He is currently President of CEMEX in Mexico and is algo in charge of the<br />
company’s global Technology area. Mr. Romero graduated from Universidad de<br />
Comillas in Spain, where he studied Law and Economic and Enterprise Sciences.<br />
Joined CEMEX in 1985 and has served as director of administration of CEMEX España<br />
from 1992 to 1994, general director of administration and finance of CEMEX España<br />
from 1994 to 1996, president of CEMEX Venezuela from 1996 to 1998, president of the<br />
South American and Caribbean region from 1998 to May 2003, and executive vice<br />
president of administration from May 2003 to April 2011. In April 2011, he was<br />
appointed Executive Advisor to the Chairman and CEO. Mr. Romo is a certified public<br />
accountant and received a master’s degree in administration and finance from ITESM.<br />
Previously, he worked for Grupo Industrial Alfa, S.A. de C.V. from 1979 to 1985. See<br />

Joined CEMEX in 1994 and has held executive positions in the Strategic Planning,<br />
Continuous Improvement, e-Business, and Marketing areas. He is currently Executive<br />
Vice President of Strategic Planning and New Business Development. He graduated with<br />
a BS from the Universidad Metropolitana and holds an International MBA from the<br />
Instituto de Empresa.<br />
He formally joined CEMEX in 2007, after a successful career of more than 19 years in<br />
the <strong>building</strong> materials industry. Since then he has held several senior positions in the<br />
company’s operations in Florida and the Eastern region of the United States. Before<br />
joining CEMEX he headed the ready-mix concrete and concrete products divisions of<br />
Rinker in the USA and Australia. He is currently President of CEMEX USA. Mr. Watson<br />
served as Chairman of the Florida Concrete and Products Association from 2008 to 2009<br />
and was appointed Chairman of the National Ready Mix Concrete Association from 2010<br />
to 2011 and member of the Executive Committee of the Portland Cement Association<br />
from 2011 to 2013. He holds a BS from the Palm Beach Atlantic University and an MBA<br />
degree from the University of Nova Southeastern, both in Florida.<br />
