Mr. Zambrano is a first cousin of Lorenzo Milmo Zambrano and Rogelio Zambrano<br />

Lozano, both members of our board of directors, He is also a second cousin of Roberto<br />

Luis Zambrano Villarreal and second uncle of Tomas Milmo Santos, both members of<br />

our board of directors.<br />

Joined CEMEX in 1985 and since then he has headed several operations, including<br />

Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, and, more recently, Mexico. He is the current President of<br />

CEMEX South America (including Central America) and the Caribbean, and is also in<br />

charge of the company’s global Procurement area. Mr. Elizondo has served as a member<br />

of the board of directors of Cementos Chihuahua, president and vice-president of the<br />

Cement National Chamber (Camara Nacional del Cemento) and president of the<br />

Transformation Industry of Nuevo León Chamber (Camara de la Industria de la<br />

Transformación de Nuevo León). He graduated with a BS and an MBA from ITESM.<br />

Joined CEMEX in 1992 and has held several executive positions, including head of<br />

operations in Egypt and Spain, as well as of Trading for Europe, the Middle East, and<br />

Asia. He is currently President of CEMEX Asia, and is also responsible for the<br />

company’s global Trading area. From 2008 to 2011 he served as a member of the board<br />

of directors of COMAC (Comercial de Materiales de la Construcción S.L.), president and<br />

member of the board of OFICEMEN (Agrupación de Fabricantes de Cemento de España),<br />

and member of the board of IECA (Instituto Español del Cemento y sus Aplicaciones), he<br />

was also the president of CEMA (Fundación Laboral del Cemento y el Medioambiente)<br />

from 2010 to 2011. He graduated with a degree in economics from the University of<br />

Zaragoza and holds an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa.<br />

Joined CEMEX in 1988 and has served as director of trading from 1988 to 1992,<br />

president of CEMEX USA from 1992 to 1994, president of CEMEX Venezuela from<br />

1994 to 1996 and Cemento Bayano from 1995 to 1996, president of CEMEX Mexico and<br />

CEMEX USA from 1996 to 1998, president of the North American region and trading<br />

from 1998 to 2009 and in 2009 he was appointed president of the Americas region. In<br />

2011, he was appointed Vice Chairman of the Board of CEMEX Mexico, Chairman of<br />

CEMEX Latin America Advisory Board and Advisor to the CEO on Institutional<br />

Relations. He is a graduate in business administration from ITESM and has an M.B.A.<br />

from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University in 1982. See “Item 5 —<br />

Joined CEMEX in 1985 and has served as chief accounting officer since 1999. Mr. Garza<br />

is a certified public accountant and received a master’s degree in administration and<br />

finance from ITESM. He also attended executive programs at ITAM, IPADE and Harvard<br />

University. He is currently member of the boards of directors of Consejo Mexicano para<br />

la Investigación y Desarrollo de Normas de Información Financiera, or CINIF, of<br />

Universidad Regiomontana, A.C., and of Grupo Cementos Chihuahua, S.A.B. de C.V.<br />

Joined CEMEX in 1989, and has served as corporate vice-president of strategic planning<br />

from 1994 to 1998, president of CEMEX Venezuela from 1998 to 2000, president of<br />

CEMEX Asia from 2000 to May 2003, and president of the South American and<br />

Caribbean region from May 2003 to February 2005. In March 2005, he was appointed<br />

president of the expanded European Region, in February 2007, President of the Europe,<br />

Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia Region, and in May 2009, executive vice<br />

president of planning and development. In February 2010, Mr. Gonzalez was appointed<br />

Executive Vice President of Planning and Finance and in 2011 he was appointed Chief<br />

Financial Officer. Mr. González earned his B.A. and M.B.A. degrees from ITESM.<br />
