to Lewis. In <strong>the</strong> middle-distance lies <strong>the</strong> inmost stretch <strong>of</strong> West Loch Tarbert.<br />

On <strong>the</strong> opposite shore st<strong>and</strong>s <strong>the</strong> whaling-station, recently ab<strong>and</strong>oned, <strong>and</strong><br />
