3. 2013 Campaign
3.1 Poly Tunnel / Hanging Baskets/Plants
Plants have been ordered from Pentland Plants and will be delivered to the poly
tunnel week beginning Monday 15 April.
Meeting to tidy and level out the poly tunnel to be arranged for the end of March
with the Bonnie Dundee Group.
3.2 Campfield Project - Snowdrop In
L Taylor handed out posters for the Snowdrop In to members of the group for
circulating.
The following items for cake and candy stall, sale of refreshments and plant stall
are being donated.
Tea and snowdrops - M Holligan
Coffee, dumpling and Dundee cake – A Taylor
Juice, biscuits, plastic cups, primulas – M Saunders
Shortbread – Trudy Whyte
Marmalade, fairy cakes, tablet and spider plants – L Taylor

3.3 Broughty Boat
Date of tidying and adding plants if required to be discussed at the March meeting.
3.4 Adopt a Station
Tidying of boat and planters and adding plants where required to be arranged at the
next meeting
3.5 Queen Street Car Park Project
M Holligan to contact G Croll at Dundee College regarding bricks. MH
S Nutt in the process of getting a key for the store. SN
Trees have been removed but there is a problem with roots. M Hollligan to contact
A Hendry DCC Environment Department Supervisor for east of the City.
Two pupils are working on a noticeboard for the project.
M Holligan would like the wall built before the seed planting session in April.
3.6 Planters at Windmill Car Park
M Saunders and Anne Hesketh have tidied up the planters which and are looking
well and standing up to the weather.
3.7 Business Involvement
S Nutt informed the group that G Stewart from Broughty Ferry Traders Association
is looking at ways of helping the group attract more funding.
3.8 Photography Competition
Competition open. Images will be displayed in the library for the week beginning
Monday 1 April.

Edible seeds have been ordered from RHS and the proposed planting date is
Sunday 14 April 2013. Time to be confirmed at the next meeting.
Community Garden Event – Saturday 2 March. Gillian Davies, Jean Melville and
Mrs Potton are representing the group.
Date of Next Meeting - Tuesday 12 March 2013, 7.00pm to be held in Broughty
Ferry Library (unless advised in use).
