3. 2013 Campaign<br />

3.1 Poly Tunnel / Hang<strong>in</strong>g Baskets/Plants<br />

Plants have been ordered from Pentland Plants and will be delivered to the poly<br />

tunnel week beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g Monday 15 April.<br />

Meet<strong>in</strong>g to tidy and level out the poly tunnel to be arranged for the end <strong>of</strong> March<br />

with the Bonnie <strong>Dundee</strong> Group.<br />

3.2 Campfield Project - Snowdrop In<br />

L Taylor handed out posters for the Snowdrop In to members <strong>of</strong> the group for<br />

circulat<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

The follow<strong>in</strong>g items for cake and candy stall, sale <strong>of</strong> refreshments and plant stall<br />

are be<strong>in</strong>g donated.<br />

Tea and snowdrops - M Holligan<br />

C<strong>of</strong>fee, dumpl<strong>in</strong>g and <strong>Dundee</strong> cake – A Taylor<br />

Juice, biscuits, plastic cups, primulas – M Saunders<br />

3.3 <strong>Broughty</strong> Boat<br />

Date <strong>of</strong> tidy<strong>in</strong>g and add<strong>in</strong>g plants if required to be discussed at the March meet<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

3.4 Adopt a Station<br />

Tidy<strong>in</strong>g <strong>of</strong> boat and planters and add<strong>in</strong>g plants where required to be arranged at the<br />

next meet<strong>in</strong>g<br />

3.5 Queen Street Car Park Project<br />

M Holligan to contact G Croll at <strong>Dundee</strong> College regard<strong>in</strong>g bricks. MH<br />

S Nutt <strong>in</strong> the process <strong>of</strong> gett<strong>in</strong>g a key for the store. SN<br />

Trees have been removed but there is a problem with roots. M Hollligan to contact<br />

A Hendry DCC Environment Department Supervisor for east <strong>of</strong> the <strong>City</strong>.<br />

Two pupils are work<strong>in</strong>g on a noticeboard for the project.<br />

M Holligan would like the wall built before the seed plant<strong>in</strong>g session <strong>in</strong> April.<br />

3.6 Planters at W<strong>in</strong>dmill Car Park<br />

M Saunders and Anne Hesketh have tidied up the planters which and are look<strong>in</strong>g<br />

well and stand<strong>in</strong>g up to the weather.<br />

3.7 Bus<strong>in</strong>ess Involvement<br />

S Nutt <strong>in</strong>formed the group that G Stewart from <strong>Broughty</strong> <strong>Ferry</strong> Traders Association<br />

is look<strong>in</strong>g at ways <strong>of</strong> help<strong>in</strong>g the group attract more fund<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

3.8 Photography Competition<br />

Competition open. Images will be displayed <strong>in</strong> the library for the week beg<strong>in</strong>n<strong>in</strong>g<br />

Monday 1 April.<br />

4. AOCB<br />

Edible seeds have been ordered from RHS and the proposed plant<strong>in</strong>g date is<br />

Sunday 14 April 2013. Time to be confirmed at the next meet<strong>in</strong>g.<br />

Community Garden Event – Saturday 2 March. Gillian Davies, Jean Melville and<br />

Mrs Potton are represent<strong>in</strong>g the group.<br />

Date <strong>of</strong> Next Meet<strong>in</strong>g - Tuesday <strong>12</strong> March 2013, 7.00pm to be held <strong>in</strong> <strong>Broughty</strong><br />

<strong>Ferry</strong> Library (unless advised <strong>in</strong> use).<br />
