It promises to be a varied and interesting programme, with something for everyone. We are relying on the builders being out of the Antiquaries premises in time for us to return there for the October lecture. For the one in September we shall again be visiting the Hall of the Swedenborg Society in Bloomsbury Way (entrance in Barter Street). A notice about this has gone to all those who attended the last two lectures in the previous season and we hope that there will be a good attendance. The relationship between arms and flags can be mysterious at times and we look forward to having it made clearer for us. After a general introduction to heraldry, the course will cover marshalling and cadency, and how to identify an armigerous family. Visit the website at www.theheraldrysociety.com
