‘ with Tuscan porch across the front. Company-built, this house is<br />

residences in this section of Peace Dale erected around the<br />

113 Church Street, the Fred Johnson Cottage c. 1890:<br />

Johnson, a Hazard family employee, was given this 1-1/2r-<br />

story gambrel-roofed-cottage, it has a 3-bay front and Tuscan<br />

entrance portico. Originally clapboard and wood shingle, it now<br />

is clad in composition shingling. This was the first of a series<br />

of similar company-built cottages erected in this area. All are<br />

attributed to architect Frank Angell see 1 Indian Run Road,<br />
