P R O D U C T PROFILE
MaxiScan 1000
The MaxiScan 1000 is a high
performance bar code scanning
and decoding engine. Small, light
and resistant to shock (due to the
solid state design), the engine can
be easily integrated into hand-held
and fixed equipment to scan bar
codes and transmit the data for
processing. The M1000 is
suitable for the following
applications:
• Integration into hand-held
scanning devices
• Integration into other bar code
printing or processing devices
• Integration into processing
equipment (laboratory
equipment, photo-processing
machines, storage
equipment, etc.)
The M1000 scans between 100
and 800 scans per second and
uses a custom ASIC processor to
decode and transmit data at high
speed. Many different reading
and data formatting parameters
can be set by the user, or defined
by the host on-line.
As standard, the engine is
decoded and transmits using the
RS 232 & TTL protocols.
In common with most
Intermec scanners, the M1000 is
compatible with EasySet setup
software for the fastest on-line or
off-line configuration.
