When two identical letters meets in succession, with the former letter has a Saakin, for<br />

example when Baa' Saakin / meets with Baa’ / the rule to recite it are called<br />

by assimilating the former letter into the latter.<br />

Exception from this rule:<br />

There are two exceptions from the rule of Idghaam Mutamathsilayn,<br />

when Wau Saakin meets with Wau<br />

when Yaa' Saakin 0 meets with Yaa' 0<br />

the former letter are not assimilated into the latter but are recited according to the<br />

specified length in Tajweed.<br />
