A4.2.4 Every document should carry at least the following container information:<br />

Box 14a Enter the weight <strong>of</strong> the cargo measured in kg. If there is<br />

only one compartment in the tank container enter the same<br />

value in Box 18a “Total net mass”. Otherwise Box 18a<br />

should be th sum <strong>of</strong> the weight <strong>of</strong> the different cargoes<br />

carried.<br />

Box 14b Enter the volume <strong>of</strong> the cargo measured in m 3 . If there is<br />

only one compartment in the tank container enter the same<br />

value in Box 19a “Total cube”. Otherwise Box 19a should be<br />

th sum <strong>of</strong> the volume <strong>of</strong> the different cargoes carried.<br />

Calculate the degree <strong>of</strong> filling – Total cube (Box 19a) / tank volume<br />

(Box 17a).<br />

Box 15 Enter the container four letter prefix, e.g. ABCU.<br />

Box 15a Enter the six numbered serial number and a single numeral<br />

check digit, e.g.123456 7.<br />

Box 15b Enter the ACEP reference number e.g. ACEP NV 11/07 or<br />

Next Examination Date (NED) that is marked on the<br />

container.<br />

Box 16 Enter the serial number for each <strong>of</strong> the seals applied to the<br />

container in the order, bottom valve, top discharge valve,<br />

manway hatch;<br />

Box 17 Enter the container size and type code that is shown on the<br />

container, e.g. 22T0<br />

Box 18 Enter the Tare weight / mass (recorded in kg) as shown on<br />

the <strong>Safe</strong>ty Approval Plate<br />

Box 18c Enter the maximum superimposed load Allowable stacking<br />

weight / mass) as shown on the <strong>Safe</strong>ty Approval Plate (see<br />

Section 12.2)<br />

Box 19 Calculate the sum <strong>of</strong> the tare and cargo weight and enter it<br />

into this box. The value should be less than the Maximum<br />

Gross Weight / Mass shown on the <strong>Safe</strong>ty Approval Plate<br />

(see Picture 59, Section 12.2)<br />

Box 19c Enter the number <strong>of</strong> compartments the tank container is<br />

fitted with. It is highly recommended that an entry is always<br />

made in this Box even <strong>of</strong> there is only a single<br />

compartment.<br />

A4.2.5 Declaration (Box 20)<br />

A4.2.5.1 Box 20 shall be completed by a responsible <strong>of</strong>ficer <strong>of</strong> the company who is<br />

responsible for loading the container with the cargo. The responsible<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficer declares that the tank container has been loaded with the cargo<br />

stated in the volumes recorded.<br />

A4.2.5.2 It shall include the Company name and the name <strong>of</strong> the responsible<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficer written in BLOCK CAPITALS.<br />
