MICHAEL
Established in 1986, Michael Magill
Entertainments has been promoting
entertainment throughout the island of Ireland
for over 20 years.
The agency currently manages top bands
including “Luv-Bug” who represented Ireland
in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1986, “The
Chevy’s”, probably the most colourful rockn-roll
band in the country, “The James Peake
Xperience” without doubt the most sought
after outfit ever, “The Housem8’s”, “Marty Fay
& the Bandidos”, “The Miracles” led by none
other than Aidan Quinn, (son of the famous
Philomena Begley), and “Hulla Baloo”.
With an innate ability to gauge the ever
changing trends in the entertainment
business, Michael Magill and son Miceal,
provide innovative and creative entertainment
solutions to a whole host of clients across
Ireland – the corporate live scene being by
far the most challenging for their stable of live
acts.
Michael firmly believes that customer service

to remember as a promoter is that your

Joined in 1992 by his son, Miceal Magill
the former Down All Ireland Medal Winner,
Michael Magill Entertainments embarked on
expanding the business to include promoting
concerts in Theatres, Hotels etc., managing
TV personalities, and providing an event
management service. Clients include both the
public and private sector. Recently they have
embarked on supplyinag entertainment for
cruises and holidays abroad.
Michael Magill Entertainments has also
worked closely with Councils throughout
Ireland to stage-manage the infamous
Halloween and St. Patrick’s Day events. In
2005 the Halloween Extravaganza hosted by
Derry City Council was voted the best outdoor
event of the year by the Northern Ireland
Tourist Board, where upwards-on 40,000
people were entertained.
In 2002, Michael Magill organised the
entertainment for the celebrationary concert
for Newry’s City status, with an estimated
45,000 people in attendance

JAMES
The band everyone wants to dance to. Now one of Ireland’s most
sought after bands on the corporate business and wedding
scene, this five piece from Belfast is currently enjoying celebrity
status wherever they play. Now with a brand new album, James
Peake has decided to change from his very successful original
material to an album of cover versions, which include tracks from
Barry White, Neil Diamond, Lionel Richie, Elton John, Jackie
Wilson, The Blues Brothers, Ray Charles, James Brown, Englebert
Humperdink, Tom Jones, Phil Collins and Elvis.
With musical impersonations of most of the above stars and with
his incredible rendition of Pavarotti’s “Nessan Dorma”, lead vocalist
James Peake undoubtedly has the biggest vocal range of any artist
in Ireland and beyond. Patrons are now requesting James Peake to
perform with the brilliant brass sounds of Allister Wallace and Bob
Hunt who feature on a number of tracks on the album
which is entitled “Pop & Soul Classics”.
The James Peake Xperience have recently received
the accolade of becoming the most entertaining
“Cabaret Act of the Year” for the past three years in the
prestigious Irish World Awards in London, performing
to top stars like Bob Geldof, Andrea Corr, Bill Wyman,
Charlene Spiteri, Pat Jennings, Paul McGinley, Bernie
Nolan, Paul Newman, Gerry Lee Lewis and Bertie
Ahern.
The James Peake Xperience have now broken into the
Sun Holiday Market and are proving very popular
throughout Europe.

Marty Fay and the Bandidos are a five-piece band playing all the
hits of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s–music to suit any age from
18 to 80!
Lead vocalist, Marty Fay, has a world of experience in the
entertainment business playing with such internationally renowned
acts as Van Morrison and Brian Kennedy.
Marty’s recent CD, ‘Believe In Me’, which was released to raise
money for a very worthwhile cause, Charity of the Fallout, has had
a lot of airplay both in Ireland and the U.K. Another strong single is
shortly due for release.
The Bandidos are a combination of the best musicians from Belfast
and Omagh and are a band not to be missed when in your area or
playing at your special occasion.
On request The Bandidos can include their spectacular tribute to
Garth Brooks performed by keyboard player Johnny Brooks. They
can supply a disco for any occasion. The complete package.

The Miracles are a five-piece band who hail from
County Tyrone. They have lots of talent and are a
completely ‘live’ band, something which is really hard to
find nowadays.
Leader of The Miracles is none other than Aidan
Quinn, son of the legendary “Queen of Country Music”,
Philomena Begley, with the wide vocal range of lead
vocalist ‘Kevin Hurson’ orchastrating their set.
Consisting of varied tastes, the band specialise in 60’s,
70’s, 80’s and Rock-n-Roll with a hint of country.
The Miracles are a very busy band and specialise in the
corporate and wedding market. If they are in your area,
it is a must to go and see them.

We would like to pass on our thanks to “The Miracles” for making
our wedding day so special. From the moment that we first met
them they were very professional. We were greeted by the lead
singer, congratulated and asked for any specific song requests.
He was very mannerly and made us feel at ease. After the first set
of dances the dance floor was full all night. They were great at
entertaining the guests and many commented on how much they
enjoyed the music (young and old). We cannot thank them enough
for this. We would definitely recommend them to anybody looking
for a band and we wish them every success for the future. We
would appreciate it if you could pass on our thanks and gratitude.

SUSAN
McCANN
Singing for world statesmen, singing in French, performing
in South Africa, Russia, Switzerland, the United States,
England, or, in her own beloved Emerald Isle of Ireland,
remains a way of life for Newry’s very own Susan McCann
after over 30 years as an international star.
In the US, Susan has appeared at the prestigious Florida
Strawberry Festival on 6 occasions. This festival attracts in
the region of one million people over the eleven day period.
Susan had the pleasure of singing first for President George
Bush (Snr) and General Normal Schwarzkopf and in more
recent times the current US President George W Bush came
to her show and met her afterwards at the Florida festival.
She has appeared in concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall and
made numerous guest appearances on American television,
both network and regional.
To celebrate her 30th anniversary, Susan released her first 4
albums (originally released on vinyl 1977 – 79), on a freshly
digitalised and re-mastered double CD called
“The Blayney Years”.
KEVIN
KEARNEY
Kevin Kearney one of Ireland’s top vocalists, has recently
joined The Magill Entertainments stable and is in great
demand for concerts, weddings and corporate functions.
A one man show, the variety of music Kevin can deliver on
a night is unbelievable, from Joe Dolan, showband hits,
country, Irish, pop to big ballads. His versions of “Danny
Boy” and “The American Trilogy” have to be heard to be
believed. He has released a new CD entitled “Drift Away”,
featuring many of his favourite tracks.
Kevin, formerly lead vocalist with “The Indians Showband”,
is a seasoned performer, and can provide an electric
evening of entertainment.

HUISH - TRIBUTE TO SWING
James Huish pays tribute to “The Rat Pack” with
songs like “Mack The Knife”, “Mr Bojangles”, “Fly Me
To The Moon”, “Ain’t that a kick in the head” to name
but a few.
James can be booked as a solo singer performing
to backing tracks, or with a 5 piece swing/jazz band
(drums, double bass, keyboards and saxophone), 9
piece swing band (drums, double bass, keyboards,
saxophone, trumpet and trombone) or a 13 piece swing
band (drums, double bass, keyboards, saxophone,
trumpet, trombone, violins and cellos). Whichever way
you book James you are sure to book a show not to be
missed.
