Plastic films can be found in a wide range <strong>of</strong> end use markets although these still<br />

development and cost reduction will be required before they can effectively compete<br />

with conventional <strong>plastic</strong>s for mainstream applications.<br />

Plastic films are used for manufacture <strong>of</strong> various types <strong>of</strong> bags, sacks, rigid<br />

packaging such as therm<strong>of</strong>ormed trays and containers, and loose-fill packaging foam<br />
