TRANSMISSION EFFICIENCY OF PLASTIC FILMS
Manufacturing process of National Foods sheet samples:
Garlic
Pickle
Biryani Masala
Tayar Masala
Chinese Salt
In these sample national Ketchup, national garlic and national biryani masala contain
aluminum foil while other sample of pickle, tayar masala and Chinese salt do not
contain aluminum foil.
The manufacturing of these samples is given below.
Manufacturing of National (Ketchup, Garlic and Biryani Masala):
National Ketchup, National Garlic and National Biryani masala are manufactured in
three steps.
Step 1:
PET and Nylon are co extruded initially.
Step 2:
Polyethylene film is produce separately by a simple film extrusion process.
Then it is vacuum metalized with aluminum.
Step 3:
Both of these layers are joining through adhesive lamination to obtain four layer
film sheets.
Manufacturing of National Pickle and National Tayar Masala:
National Pickle contains Polyethylene and Nylon and National Tayar Masala
contain PET and Nylon. Both of these samples are produced by co extrusion using
adhesive such as ozone gas.
Manufacturing of National Chinese Salt:
The sheet of Chinese salt contains PE and PP. Both of these layers are
produced separately and combined through reverse laminating technique. In this
technique adhesive is applied on both of these layers and passed over each other in
reverse direction. This mechanism gives excellent bonding to both of these layers.
The adhesive chosen for this type of process should be compatible.
