RIVET<br />

rivet sleeve and<br />

starts to form<br />

bulbed blind<br />

head<br />

Clamp-up and hole<br />

fill action begin<br />

Formation of<br />

blind head and<br />

hole filling are<br />

completed<br />

Shear ring now shears<br />

from stem cone to<br />

allow stem to pull<br />

further into rivet<br />

Shear ring guarantees blind<br />

side bulbed head.<br />

(In minimum grip shear ring may not shear)<br />
