Curing gel ink requires special
handling.
Oven speeds need to be
slowed down and temperatures
raised slightly so the gel turns
clear and “domes.”.
When a gel print comes out of
the oven it is extremely sticky.
(That’s why it is used for foiling
as well.)
Avoid letting the hot gel ink
touch other areas of the print, it
will fuse immediately with other
gel ink.
