Service measurements<br />

In 2007 a total of 342 I-V measurement were performed for third-parties. For several modules, in addition<br />

to the I-V determination, other measurements were executed:<br />

� 22 determination of the temperature coefficients;<br />

� 21 I-V characterization at different irradiances (200, 400, 600 and 800 W/m²);<br />

� 47 outdoor initial degradation (20-40 kWh/m²), were the IV characterization is performed before<br />

and after the exposure;<br />

� I-V determination with multiflash method;<br />

� Visual inspection (according to IEC 61215);<br />

� Insulation test (according to IEC 61215);<br />

� Electrical continuity test;<br />

� By-pass diode test.<br />

3.2 Outdoor Test (cycle no. 10)<br />

3.2.1 Power verification<br />

In March 2006 a new 15 months test cycle (no.10) began and ended in June 2007 [1]. Fourteen different<br />

module types were chosen, in an attempt to include the greater part of available technologies: 8<br />

mc-Si, 2 sc-Si, 1 HIT, 2 a-Si and 1 CdTe. Power (Pn), production tolerance (tp) and warranties (w)<br />

given by the manufacturer are shown in Table 1.<br />
