I am lost<br />
with no hope of being found<br />
I’m summing th<strong>is</strong> up<br />
<strong>the</strong>re <strong>is</strong> no way round.<br />
My home has gone<br />
my life destroyed<br />
my education done<br />
and death deployed.<br />
Peace <strong>is</strong> scarce<br />
as <strong>the</strong> war rages on<br />
living a struggle<br />
my life <strong>is</strong> so wrong.<br />
My faith for god wi<strong>the</strong>rs<br />
he used to be my friend<br />
he has left me alone<br />
my belief draws to an end.<br />
How <strong>can</strong> people be so self<strong>is</strong>h?<br />
to want <strong>more</strong> <strong>than</strong> <strong>the</strong>y need<br />
to take o<strong>the</strong>rs’ lives<br />
to fund <strong>the</strong>ir own greed.<br />
My rights have d<strong>is</strong>appeared<br />
in <strong>the</strong> midst of <strong>the</strong> struggle<br />
what have I done wrong<br />
to end up with th<strong>is</strong> trouble.<br />
Being a refugee<br />
turns a person worse<br />
makes us steal and sin<br />
