I saw it,<br />
but I didn’t know what to do,<br />
or what it was.<br />
I felt<br />
you that time<br />
it spoke<br />
but I couldn’t answer,<br />
I didn’t know what it was.<br />
I thought,<br />
tried to rational<strong>is</strong>e you in my head,<br />
but I couldn’t grip it.<br />
I had felt what you were,<br />
but was only aware of what it could be.<br />
It left<br />
me alone.<br />
I couldn’t find anyone else,<br />
you and it were<br />
inseparably intertwined.<br />
I didn’t fit.<br />
You were real and yet a dream,<br />
it was untrue and yet felt like a nightmare.<br />
I ran<br />
to find you,<br />
searching desperately,<br />
but you had gone.<br />
It was <strong>the</strong>re,<br />
