<strong>System</strong> Overview<br />
The <strong>Anti</strong>-<strong>Heeling</strong> <strong>System</strong> is designed for the continuous<br />
compensation of the ship’s heel during all kinds of<br />
loading operations in port and during offshore operations.<br />
With over 20 years of experience, our systems have been<br />
installed on different types of container, heavy lift, offshore<br />
supply and construction vessels. Special heel control on<br />
sailing ships for wind load compensation on cruise course<br />
or ice heeling on ice breakers round up the wide range of<br />
<strong>Anti</strong>-<strong>Heeling</strong> <strong>System</strong> applications.<br />
The heeling compensation of the system is achieved<br />
by pumping ballast water or other fl uids between the<br />
heeling tanks using reversible propeller pumps as well<br />
as applications with centrifugal pumps. Pneumatically<br />
controlled butterfl y valves are standard parts of the<br />
<strong>Anti</strong>-<strong>Heeling</strong> <strong>System</strong>.<br />
