Miniature transfer molded hybrid IC and improved power factor active filter IC<br />
Applications<br />
This device is a chopper type active filter that integrates a power device (IGBT, FRD), a PFC<br />
control IC, and a regulator for the control IC in a single package. It is optimal for handling highfrequency<br />
current in home appliances that include an inverter and general-purpose inverter and<br />
switching power supplies.<br />
Functions and Features<br />
Single-phase AC input chopper type active filter<br />

Adopts an IGBT (NPT) in the active filter output stage<br />
Supports a wide range of input voltages (up to 50 V) by includes a<br />
regulator for the PFC control IC.<br />
Full complement of protection circuits, including overcurrent,<br />
overvoltage, and undervoltage protection circuits, plus a soft start<br />
function.<br />
PFC control can be turned on/off with a logic level signal.<br />
Light load correction circuit prevents increases in the output voltage in the no-load state.<br />
Lead forming allows the device to be mounted either horizontally or vertically.<br />
Insulation breakdown voltage: 2 kV rms guaranteed (50 Hz, 1 minute)<br />
