The HiT on <strong>Canada</strong> was produced by the <strong>Europe</strong>an Observatory on <strong>Health</strong><br />

Systems and Policies.<br />

This edition was written by Gregory P. Marchildon (University of Regina).<br />

It was edited by Anna Sagan, Research Fellow, working with the support of<br />

Sarah Thomson, Research Director, both from the Observatory’s team at the<br />

London School of Economics and Political Science. Sara Allin (University<br />

of Toronto and Canadian Institute <strong>for</strong> <strong>Health</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation) contributed to the<br />

report by reviewing part of an earlier draft. The basis <strong>for</strong> this edition was the<br />

previous HiT on <strong>Canada</strong>, which was published in 2005, written by Gregory<br />

Marchildon and edited by Sara Allin.<br />
