work here for so long? The children.
2. What are your special interests outside of work?
Whatever my 6-year-old grandson who lives with us is doing
(baseball, basketball, etc.).
3. What are three words that best describe you? Funloving,
dependable and organized.
4. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, whom would you like to see
play you in the lead role? Kathy Bates.
5. If you could have one super power, what would it be? Have the energy at 50
to keep up with a 6-year-old.
6. What is one fun fact about you that few people know? That back in the old
days when I was young and full of energy, I did competition western dance.
7. If you could trade places with any other person for a week – famous or not,
living or dead – with whom would it be? Amelia Earhart.
8. If you were a raindrop, where is the one place that you’d want to land? In
a flower garden that is in full bloom.
9. What is the best advice you ever received? Treat others as I would like to be
treated.
10. What is your favorite memory from working at ACH? Anytime we are able
to let parents know that we were able to help their child.
New Arrivals
Congratulations to CVICU nurse Kat Turbeville and her husband, Tommy,
on the birth of their new daughter on Jan. 17. Natalie Katherine came into the world
weighing 7 pounds, 14 ounces and measuring in at 20 inches long!
The stork recently visited Alicia Hutson of CVICU and her husband, Roy.
They are the proud new parents of a baby boy, Jace Rory. He was born Feb. 4,
weighing 7 pounds, 2 ounces and measuring in at 19 3 /4 inches long. Congratulations!
CIVCU nurse Shahara Stanfield and her husband Cedric Lee Stanfield, Sr.
welcomed a baby boy on Feb. 14. Their little Valentine, named Treyton Armon Lee,
weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces and measured in at 19 inches in length.
Best wishes to the growing family!

Congratulations
Kudos go out to the ACH Lactation team for recently being recognized by the International
Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners and International Lactation Consultant
Association for excellence in lactation care. Team members received the IBCLC Care
Award in recognition of staffing International Board Certified Lactation Consultants and
for providing a lactation program that is available throughout the week for breastfeeding
families. In addition, the groups recognized ACH’s Lactation program for providing
breastfeeding training for medical staff that care for new families and for recently completing
activities that help protect, promote and support breastfeeding. Congratulations
to this hard-working team!
