asymmetrical Tudor Revival style dwelling composed of 24-story,
gable-roof units. Three short wings are arranged to form splayed
"U" which is attached hy one of its sides to a long, rectangular
main block. The first story of the house is fieldstone, with white
painted brick and half-timber construction above. The mass oF the
house is enlivened by numerous projections, hays, and overhangs;
gabled and shed dormers ; and massive rihbed slab chimneys with
chimney pets, one in the Form of a hellcete . The property encompasses
a guest or caretaker’s cottage and a combination garage/chaufFeur’ s
